Board of Directors

The Board of Directors provides overall governance, ensuring GSIL remains aligned with its mission and strategic growth. The Board oversees:

• Long-term growth strategies

• Risk management & sustainability

Executive Management

The executive team leads GSIL’s day-to-day operations, innovation, and expansion:

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
  Provides overall strategic direction, spearheading GSIL’s growth in steel manufacturing and trading.

• Chief Operations Officer (COO)
  Oversees production processes, quality control, and plant efficiency to maintain the annual capacity of 120,000 tons.

• Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  Responsible for financial planning, risk management, and ensuring cost competitiveness in regional markets.

• Director, Sales & Marketing
  Leads commercial strategy, client relations, and regional market expansion into Uganda, Rwanda, Congo, and South Sudan.

• Director, Trading & Partnerships
  Manages the Atlas Steel trading desk and oversees partnerships with international suppliers.

Middle Management & Technical Teams

Our management structure is supported by department heads and technical supervisors, including:

• Production Managers – ensure plant uptime and efficient output.

• Quality Assurance Managers – enforce UNBS certification and internal quality standards.

• Human Resource & Administration – focus on talent, training, and workforce welfare.

• Logistics & Supply Chain Managers – coordinate distribution across Uganda and East Africa.
